(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J) On 07.01.2021, this Court passed the following order: "Registry is directed to put up a note whether any appeal has been filed challenging the judgment in S.C.No.227 of 2011 passed by the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, on 21.12.2013 either by this accused or by co-accused and put up a note." 2.

Pursuant to the aforesaid order, the Registry has placed a note, wherein, they have stated as follows:

"On verification, I am to submit that the coaccused viz., Karthikeyan has only preferred an appeal before this Hon'ble Court challenging the conviction and sentence in S.C.No.227 of 2011 passed by the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, on 21.12.2013."

Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 2084 days in filing the appeal is condoned and this petition is allowed.
