ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "Directing the Respondents herein to regularize the petitioner in the post of Vocational Instructor (Accounts and Audit) as per the recommendation of the 2nd Respondent dated 29.10.2020."
2. The petitioner's case is that he was appointed as a Vocational Instructor (Accounts and Audit) on 01.07.2004 through the Parent Teacher Association in the Government Higher Secondary School, Tiruvannamalai. Since the date of appointment, he has been continuously working in the said post for the past 22 years.
3. While so, the Government had taken a policy decision to regularize the services of Vocational Instructors working in Government Aided Institutions and in this regard issued G.O. Ms. No. 35 dated 09.02.2007.
Pursuant to the said Government Order, as the petitioner satisfied all the conditions stipulated therein for the purpose of regularization, he was called for certificate verification to the office of the Chief Educational Officer and his name was included in the list of qualified candidates for the purpose of regularization. The petitioner's main grievance is that, despite the inclusion of his name in the list of fully qualified Vocational Instructors for the purpose of regularization in the proceedings of the respondent dated 29.10.2020, his services have not been regularized to date. Hence, the presence Writ Petition.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.
5. Considering the fact that despite the petitioner's name having been included in the list of qualified Vocational Instructors for the purpose of regularization in the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 29.10.2020, the petitioner's services have not been regularized to date, the Writ Petition is allowed. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request seeking regularization of his service, as per the recommendation of the second respondent dated 29.10.2020 and in the light of the order passed by a Division Bench of this Court in W.A. No. 419 of 2023 dated 10.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
