Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the first respondent has levied the vacant land tax with effect from 01.10.2006, 01.04.2007 and 01.10.2009. Subsequent to the present writ petition, the petitioner has paid the entire vacant land tax amount to the first respondent corporation on 19.12.2013 and 23.01.2014. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
