This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to follow the due process of law and not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On a complaint given by one Govindan, a petition enquiry is pending. These petitioners have also given a complaint against Govindan, as the said Govindan had attacked these petitioners.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioners are directed to cooperate with the enquiry and during enquiry, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioners. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.
