This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records in C.C. No.7667 of 2014 pending on the file of learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Heard Mr.A.Rajesh Kanna, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. On a reading of the complaint, there are sufficient materials for the prosecution to proceed and therefore this petition cannot be quashed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the matter is referred to Mediation, there is a possibility of parties arriving at settlement. Accepting the submission, this Court directs the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, to refer the case in C.C.
