ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in S.T.C.No.374 of 2012 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukoviloore, Villupuram District and quash the criminal proceedings.

2. There was no representation for the petitioner on 14.7.2015, on 21.7.2015 and on 24.7.2015. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. This quash petition has been filed to call for the records in S.T.C.No. 374 of 2012 and quash the same.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor represents that the trial in STC.No.374 of 2012 had commenced and two witnesses have been examined and the case is posted to 30.7.2015 for examination of further witnesses.

5. In view of the fact that the trial has commenced, the petition for quash should not be entertained and it should be left to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

trial Court to pass orders on the evidence adduced by the parties. Since this case is of the year 2012, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukoviloore to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the accused co-operates the trial.
