ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.K.Karthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 4 and 5.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 19.12.2023 has been given by the petitioner for grant of patta.

3. In case application is filed by the petitioner and the same is pending with the third respondent and, in case the third respondent is competent to decide the application, then the third respondent shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
