PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with the proceedings issue in No.3381/A2/2015 dated 26.06.2015 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct to the respondent to promote the petitioner as Junior Assistant. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in connection with the proceedings Page No.1 of 4
No.3381/A2/2015 dated 26.06.2015 issued by the respondent and claiming promotion to the post of Junior Assistant.

After hearing the matter for quite some time, this Court came to the conclusion that though the petitioner was enlisted for consideration for promotion for the post of Junior Assistant, the petitioner retired from service even before his turn came up for consideration and in view of the same, the petitioner was not promoted to the post of Junior Assistant. As the turn of the petitioner was not come up for consideration while he was in service, though he was found eligible for promotion, the question of granting any relief in favour of the petitioner in the present writ petition does not arise. 3.
In the light of the above, this Court does not find any error or illegality in the impugned order passed by the respondent and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
