J U D G M E N T

When the matter is taken up for hearing today (20.02.2018), the learned counsel appearing for both parties submitted that the parties have arrived at mutually agreeable settlement and filed a Memo of Compromise dated 19.01.2018 to that effect.

2. As per the terms of agreement, the appellant/husband has to pay a sum of Rs.6,25,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Twenty Five Thousand Only) to the respondent/wife, towards full and final settlement of the issue and the same has been paid by the appellant. The learned counsel for the respondent had filed a memo dated 19.02.2018 stating that the respondent has received the amount. The said Joint Memo of Compromise reads as under:- MEMO OF COMPROMISE The respondent agrees to receive the sum of Rs.6,25,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Twenty Five Thousand) agreed to be paid by the appellant before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this Hon'ble Court pursuant to the orders passed on 18.01.2018.

3. This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Memo of Compromise, which shall form part of the order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
