ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 452 and 395 r/w 397 of IPC and after due investigation, final report has been filed under Sections 452, 395 r/w 397 IPC @ 452, 392 r/w 397 of IPC, the same has been taken cognizance as PRC.No.25 of 2017.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 16.05.2015, the accused A1 to A4 trespassed into a house by breaking open the front door with an iron rod, assaulted Umadevi with a knife, threatened her and committed theft of 22 sovereigns of gold jewels, a mobile phone and a watch worth about Rs.3,50,000/-. Hence, the case.

3. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), it is seen that the petitioner has 72 previous cases, whereas the learned counsel for the petitioner, though disputing the same, fairly admitted that 48 previous cases are pending. While looking at the factual position, a NonBailable Warrant was ordered on 19.01.2026 and the petitioner has not taken any steps to surrender before the concerned Court. In such view of the matter, and also taking into consideration the large number of previous cases, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
