ORDER
The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 191(3), 118(1), 137(2), 127(2), 13, 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Attrocities) Act, in Crime No.32 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant's minor son was assaulted by a group of persons near Ellaiyamman Temple, Cheyyur, and the petitioner has been arrayed as one of the accused. Hence, the case.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is the fourth accused and that the victim belongs to a Scheduled Caste.
4. In view of the above submissions, the petition is not maintainable. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 05-03-2026 cda
