ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested for the alleged offences under section 174 Cr.P.C. Altered to Sections 364, 394, 302 and 201 I.P.C., seeks bail.

2.The respondent police has registered a complaint on 22.12.2021 in Crime No.1865 of 2021, based on the information received from V.A.O. that an unidentified body of a lady approximately about 30 years old is found in a well. A case under section 174 Cr.P.C. was registered and taken up for investigation. In the course of investigation, after advertising through pamphlets depicting the photograph of the lady, her dress and jewels found on the body, the police were able to track the crime wherein this petitioner, who had illegal intimacy with the deceased, had called the brother of the deceased through one Soundarya and made the deceased to come over to Namakkal N.Kosavampatty. He was seen together with the deceased Lalitha at 10.30 p.m. on 15th November 2021 and he has taken her in a Maruthi car bearing No.TN 88 D 8002 S Cross and thereafter, the said Lalitha was found dead in a well. The police has further recovered the jewels of the deceased Lalitha, which was pledged in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Muthoot finance. The deceased has admitted his guilt in his confession statement, which has lead to recovery of the jewels of the deceased. The police has completed the investigation and has filed the final report. The murder has been committed for gain and to avoid the pressure of the deceased.

3.Considering the fact that the police has completed the investigation and filed the final report and the same is to be yet to be committed to the Sessions Court, the release of the petitioner on bail in this case, where the witnesses are closely related to the accused will lead to tampering of witnesses, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the petition for bail is dismissed.
