Respondents This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus restraining the respondents from erecting a transformer or any other electrical equipments adjacent to petitioner's patta property (dwelling house) in Survey No.283 (at Door No.173, Old No.330, Gangai Amman Koil Cross Street, Vengaivasal Village, Kancheepuram District), and to further direct the respondents to erect the said transformer/electrical equipment at the vacant Panchayat site in Survey No.284 and 285 originally identified and proposed by the 2nd respondent or at any other more suitable alternate site.

2. It is admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that already the transformer has been erected.

3. Since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructous, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
