On 25.09.2019, my learned predecessor (PDAJ) had passed the following order :

"Learned Counsel for the Respondents seeks time to get specific clarification from the concerned authorities as to what would be the geographical limits of the location or locality mentioned in the notification. Such clarification shall contain particulars as to whether the location of the showroom offered by the Petitioner falls under a different area classified by the Respondents for the purpose of allocation of LPG Distributorship with necessary particulars. The Respondents shall also specify whether there is any limit of geographical area of operations with reference to the residence of the customers whose needs have to be catered and if so, the details of the same shall also be furnished.

Post the matter under the caption 'location of LPG showroom' on 04.11.2019."

Thereafter, the matter was again listed on 04.11.2019, when again the learned counsel for the respondent sought extension of time and the matter was listed on 3.01.2020, on which date again time was sought and the matter is listed today. Despite the time being extended it is very unfortunate that still the respondents have not complied with the directions of this Court. Time is granted till 30.01.2020. WP.No.7925 of 2019 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J jrs respondents payable in favour of Tamilnadu Legal Service Authority, Chennai. Accordingly the respondents are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Legal Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 30.01.2020. Further, the respondents are directed to comply with the order, extracted above by 30.01.2020.

2. Call the matter again on 30.01.2020 both for filing report and for showing proof of payment of costs to the TamilNadu Legal Services Authority, Chennai.
