O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Kaveripatti Agraharam Arulmigu Sree Thadikaran Swamy Temple Festival at Sankagiri Taluk, Salem District on 10.04.2021 between 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2021. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner has submitted his representation to the respondent for conducting cultural programme and the said representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

writ petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for the aforementioned prayer.

4.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27.03.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, by taking into consideration of the ground situation and the COVID pandemic situation prevailing in the locality and the decision shall be taken as early as possible.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
