..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records in respect of this order Moo-Mu(A-3)/1939/ 2021 dated 21.10.2021 but issued on 20.12.2023 by the Tahsildar, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District the 4th respondent herein to quash the same and to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein updated the petitioner's name in the online of Revenue records of Kolliyankunam Revenue Village in the lands extent about 0.87.0 (2.17 1/2 Acres) in Patta No.Vide Aa 2.T.K.T.No.152/2012 Pasali No.1422 dated 06.08.2012 after altered "A" Register and demarcation of the above said petitioner's land located at Kolliyankunam Revenue Village, Myilam Post, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District on the basis of the petitioner's representation through registered post dated 26.01.2024. ORDER
This writ petition is filed to call for the records in respect of this order Moo-Mu(A-3)/1939/ 2021 dated 21.10.2021 but issued on 20.12.2023 by the Tahsildar, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District the 4th respondent herein to quash the same and to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein updated the petitioner's name in the online of Revenue records of Kolliyankunam Revenue
Village in the lands extent about 0.87.0 (2.17 1/2 Acres) in Patta No.Vide Aa 2.T.K.T.No.152/2012 Pasali No.1422 dated 06.08.2012 after altered "A" Register and demarcation of the above said petitioner's land located at Kolliyankunam Revenue Village, Myilam Post, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District on the basis of the petitioner's representation through registered post dated 26.01.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was assigned with a land in S.No.108/2, to an extent of 0.87.0 ares, situated at Kolliyankunam Revenue Village, Myilam post, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District vide Patta No.Aa2.T.K.T.No.152/2012 and he was in possession and enjoyment over the land. Since the revenue records have not been mutated in the name of the petitioner, he sent various representations to the authorities concerned. However, the same was not considered. Hence, he filed a writ petition in W.P.No.12623 of 2021 and this Court vide its order dated 28.06.2021, directed the fourth respondent therein to consider the same. Despite which, no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioner has filed contempt petition No.2760 of 2023. Pending this contempt, the fourth respondent has passed an order dated 21.10.2021 by rejecting the petitioner's claim of mutation of records on his favour in regard to aforesaid property. Challenging the said order dated 21.10.2021, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that no records exist regarding the assignment or granting of a patta for the aforementioned survey number. According to the respondents, the documents provided are bogus and fabricated one. Furthermore, Patta No.Aa2 T.K.T.No.152 of 2012 does not relate to the subject property. Therefore, he would submit that the right course available to the petitioner is to approach the Civil Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In the present case, the issuance of assignment patta as well as the assignment of subject land in respect of 0.87.0 Ares (2.17 1/2 acres) vide patta No.Aa2.T.K.T.No.152/2012 dated 06.08.2012 is disputed by the respondents as created and fabricated one. Since the matter appears to be civil in nature, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Therefore, as rightly contended by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the right course available to the petitioner is to establish his legal rights by approaching the Civil Court, in the manner known to law.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands dismissed with a liberty to approach the Civil Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 26-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VM To:
