The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the 3rd respondent, namely the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Kallakurichi to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.05.2015 and investigate the matter and to file a final report within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 24.05.2015 to the 3rd Respondent police by post.

4. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a copy of the complaint dated 24.05.2015 to the concerned police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
