2. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepts notice for the respondent and submits that no other separate appeal has been preferred by the appellant before us.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the matter, we accept the reason for the delay, namely original copy of the judgment was misplaced by the relatives of the detenu.
