Mr.K.P.P.Raja Raja Chozhan J U G M E N T Pursuant to the direction passed by this Court on 09.10.2015, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Center, High Court, Madras. Both parties appeared and arrived at amicable settlement.

2. After receipt of mediation report, the case was listed before this Court. Both the parties were present before this Court.

3. The parties to the appeal have entered into a settlement through Mediation and the terms of settlement were reduced into writing. As per the agreement, a sum of Rs.19,71,000/- paid by the appellants to the respondent through demand draft and the respondent has encashed the same.

4. The appellants are permitted to get back the original documents marked as exhibits before the Trial Court in O.S.No.72 of 2018. The preliminary decree passed by the trial Court dated 01.02.2021 is modified as per the terms of agreement.

5. Accordingly, A.S.No.357 of 2022 is disposed of. The terms of agreement shall form part of the decree. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
