O R D E R
The petitioner challenges the order dated 25.04.2014, whereby and whereunder he was suspended from service pending initiation of disciplinary proceedings. The petitioner also challenges the order dated 30.04.2014 on the file of first respondent whereby and whereunder he was retained in service pending disciplinary proceedings.
2. When these Writ Petitions came up for hearing on 29.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case outer time limit is fixed for completion of disciplinary proceedings. In view of the said submission, I have directed the learned Special Government Pleader to take instructions from the respondents.
3. When these Writ Petitions were taken up for consideration today, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the second respondent has already concluded the enquiry and a report to that effect was submitted to the first respondent. According to the learned counsel, second show cause notice was issued to the petitioner and after receiving his explanation, final orders would be passed. It was further submitted that within a period of two months, entire proceedings would be disposed of by the first respondent.
4. The first respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner by charge memo dated 10.4.2014 as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. Sd/- Asst. Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar.
