The petitioner has filed this petition to quash the CCB Cr.No.479 of 2018 pending on the file of the Central Crime Branch, (EDF II, Team 3), Veppary, Chennai, having been taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 138 r/w Section 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. On a perusal of the record, this matter was earlier referred to mediation, but no settlement was arrived and this petition is also not maintainable. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the trial Court to quash the final report in the manner know to law. On considering the age of the petitioner, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is ordered to be dispensed with and the petitioner is directed to appear if his appearance is necessary.
