ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 4 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.30 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner herein due to previous enmity set fire to the Bolero Car that belongs to the defacto complainant and caused damages to the tune of Rs.5 lakhs. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner has five previous cases and also submit that this is the second anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner and there is no change in circumstances.

5. Considering the fact that it is a case of setting fire to the bolero car of the defacto complainant and also considering that there is no change in circumstances from the earlier application, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
