The prayer sought for in the present petition is to accept the affidavits and give a quietus to the issue and call for records and quash the proceedings pending against the petitioner in C.C. No.1984 of 2010 on the file of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai
2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the 1st respondent / de-facto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves.

3. Both the learned counsel have identified the de-facto complainant, who is present before this Court today. In order to identify the petitioner and the de-facto complainant, they have submitted their photo copies of their Identity Cards viz.,1.V.Srinivasan - 635792369118 (Aadhar Card) and 2. G.S.Balaji - BJJPS3168N(PAN Card) and after verification of the originals, the same are recorded.
4. Today, an Affidavit dated 06.03.2018 was also filed by the 1st respondent / de-facto complainant to the effect that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1984 of 2010 pending on the file of the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.
5. Recording the same, the proceedings in C.C.No.1984 of 2010 on the file of the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
