Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 27.10.2014 in BDFGISSV No.1583/2014 against the petitioner's husband, the detenu herein, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and to set aside the same and to direct the respondents to produce the detenu , Manimaran, son of Thangaraj, aged about 25 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu Manimaran, son of Thangaraj, aged about 25 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 27.10.2014 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 [ Act 7 of 1980].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 27.10.2014 has been revoked by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6853, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 12.12.2014 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
