ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the Crime No.4 of 2019 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent Police.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 26.09.2019, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that so far 781 depositors/victims were examined and the complaint are still receiving by the respondent Police and they are regularly enquiring the same and recording the statements. Therefore, the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

5.It is seen that the investigation is in progress and the same is proceeding on the right direction. Hence, no time limit can be fixed, anyhow, the respondent police is directed to continue with the investigation and complete the same as expeditiously as possible and file a final report under due intimation to the depositors/victims.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
