PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS Act/482 of Cr.P.C., to modify the condition to deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) as non refundable deposit to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Vellore. The said amount may be handed over by the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Vellore, to the Chief Medical Officer, Government General Hospital, Ranipet District, for the treatment of needy Page No.1 of 4

ORDER

The petitioner seeks modification of the condition imposed on him in para no.4 that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) as a non refundable deposit to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Vellore. The said amount may be handed over by the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Vellore, to the Chief Medical Officer, Government General Hospital, Ranipet District, for the treatment of needy patients by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9297 of 2024, dated 16.04.2024.

2. The second anticipatory bail was considered by Hon'ble Mr.Justice C.V.Karthikeyan on the ground that the petitioner had agreed to deposit a Page No.2 of 4

sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - IV, Vellore.

3. This Court finds no reason to modify the said order dated 16.04.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.9297 of 2024. Accordingly, the criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed.

4. Further, the time is extended up to two weeks for the petitioner to deposit the aforesaid amount from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
