O R D E R
The petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.TN 23 AD 6387 that was seized by the respondent police was not considered for return, since the petitioner had expressed his inability to produce the original Registration Certificate Book at that point of time.
2. Today when the matter was called the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is in possession of original Registration Certificate Book and he is willing to produce before the first respondent for the purpose of seeking release of his vehicle.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that if the petitioner produces the original Registration Certificate Book pertaining to the subject vehicle his request for release will be considered in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. In the result, the criminal original petition stands allowed. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the first respondent seeking for release of his vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 23 AD 6387, P.Red Color, Chassis No.446254GSL 930804, Engine No.483DL51GSZ71 5241 along with the original Registration Certificate Book of the said vehicle and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
