O R D E R

The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to forward the files pertaining to Revision Petition No.210/2017 and O.A.No.1/1997 to the office of 2nd Respondent/ The Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Madurai in order to enable him to commence and conduct an enquiry as directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in C.A.No.4254 of 2015.

2. Today Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents confirms on the basis of written instructions, a copy of which had been placed on file, that the entire files have been received by the 2nd respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

There is thus no impediment for the commencement and conduct of enquiry.

3. Let the enquiry be conducted in accordance with law after hearing all the parties that are necessary to decide the issue and orders passed within a period of sixteen weeks from date of uploading of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed as above. No costs.
