This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second and third respondents to appoint the petitioner as a teacher under the priority category with respect to the her qualification.

Mr.R.Sankarasubhu, learned counsel appearing for sixth respondent is present.

No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Respondents 1 to 5 and respondent 6 have filed a separate counters.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that in order to be appointed as a teacher, a person should mandatorily pass Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which the petitioner did not go through and that if the petitioner's request is considered, it would open the floodgates of Page No.2 of 4

litigation. Considering the submissions made and perusal of the documents filed, this Court finds that there are no merits in this case. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Costs made easy.
