petitioner representation dated 02.07.2024 by removing the encroachment made in Survey No.138/7, Rayasamuthiram Village, Vadaponparappi Post, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District which was classified as Keenaru (Well) Porombake within a time frame.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The present petition seeks a direction upon respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made in S.No.138/7, Rayasamuthiram, Village, Vadaponparappi Post, Vanagaram Taluk, Kallakurichi District, which was classified as Kinaru (well) poromboke.
2. Since the land belongs to the local authority, Block Development Officer, Sankarapuram, vide order dated 10.03.2026, has directed the President, Vadaponparappi Panchayat Village, to take appropriate action as per law.
3. We suo motu implead the Block Development Officer, Sankarapurak Taluk, as the fifth respondent.
4. In view of the decision taken by the Block Development Officer, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fifth respondent, along with the third respondent, to complete the enforcement proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.
5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
