O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the representations made by the petitioner on 17.02.2025 and 25.02.2025 and pass orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.M.P.Guna Sri, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The specific case of the petitioner is that the previous house site patta that was issued with respect to the subject property was cancelled through proceedings of the first respondent dated 02.08.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a Monday petition before the first respondent on 17.02.2025 seeking for issuance of house site patta. Since the same was not considered, a representation was made on 25.02.2025 and the same did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court seeking for 2/4

appropriate direction.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 17.02.2025 and take a decision within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
