O R D E R

The petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal of the representation in relation to the closure/relocation of TASMAC shop No.1903.

2. According to the petitioner, TASMAC shop No.1903 is located in an area wherein school children and women have to pass the shop during the evening and there is considerable inconvenience on that account. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 01.02.2024. Since such representation did not elicit a response, the present writ petition was filed.

3. Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 & 3. Mr.M.Sekar, learned standing counsel, accepts notice for respondents 2 & 4. On instructions, they submit that the representation would be considered and disposed of by the District Collector within a reasonable time frame. 2/4

4. Therefore, W.P.No.7132 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 01.02.2024 within a maximum period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
