Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen and seeks a mandamus directing the respondent/Tahsildar, Periyamet to dispose representation made by him on 22.12.2023.

3. In the said representation, the petitioner seeks cyclone relief of Rs.6,000/-, since it is his case that during Michaung cyclone his home had been flooded.

4. Mr.Singh would accede to the receipt of representation and would assure the Court as well as the petitioner that the same will be considered and disposed expeditiously, bearing in mind the age of the petitioner.

5. Hence, mandamus is issued to the sole respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2023, hear him or any other person who may appear on his behalf and pass orders in accordance with law and all applicable Government Orders, within a period of two

(2) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
