This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the proceedings in S.C.No.280 of 2022 pending on the file of the XV Additional Sessions Court, Chennai to any other Court on the ground that the Presiding 1/4

Officer pre concluded, prejudged and while recording the evidence, he frequently intercepted and diluted the answer given by the witness.

2. This Court to ascertain whether there was any material to substantiate the allegation made against the presiding officer requested the counsel to furnish the deposition copy of the witnesses.

3. Today, the deposition copy of the witnesses had been furnished. On perusing the deposition copy, this Court is not able to find any palpable interception or intervention on the part of the Presiding Officer while recording the evidence. Hence, the reasons stated in the petition for transfer of the proceedings to some other Court is not sustainable.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 23.04.2024 Vv 2/4
