Revision filed against the order in C.A.No.231 of 2014 on the file of the learned III Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai dated 12.2.2014 confirming the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.1525 of 2013 on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai. For petitioner : Mr.J.Suresh

O R D E R

This criminal revision is filed against the interim order granted by the First Appellate Court. While granting stay, the Appellate Court has directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.17,000/- per month as maintenance. Aggrieved over the same, the present criminal revision has been filed.

2. At the time of admission of this criminal revision, this Court has directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.7500/- per month as maintenance. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been paying the said sum.

3. Considering the same, this revision petition is closed, directing the First Appellate Court to dispose of the appeal within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Pending first appeal, the petitioner shall continue to pay a sum of Rs.7500/- per month as maintenance. The sum of Rs.7500/- should be paid from the date of petition. The petitioner is directed to pay the arrears amount within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. pay maintenance amount of Rs.7,500/- per month, as directed by this Court, then, the original order passed by the First Appellate Court directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.17,000/- will take effect.

5. The criminal revision is closed. Consequently, M.P.No.1 and 2 are closed.
