This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the R.C.O.P. 96 of 2016, pending on the file of District Munsif, Ambattur.

2. Considering the nature of order going to be passed in this Civil Revision Petition, which would cause no prejudice to the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a landlord. He has filed a petition for eviction on the ground of willful default. According to the petitioner, even though R.C.O.P. filed in the year 2016, it was not disposed of so far. Hence, he has filed this Civil Revision Petition seeking to dispose the R.C.O.P.

4. Mr.K.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that, earlier, the petitioner has filed an application under Sec.11(4) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, and that application has been dismissed on 25.02.2019. Even thereafter, the main R.C.O.P. was not disposed of.

5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for petitioner and perused the records carefully.

6. Considering the limited prayer sought in this Civil Revision Petition, without going into the merits of the case, and also considering the fact that the R.C.O.P. is pending from the 2/4

year 2016, the learned District Munsif, Ambattur is directed to dispose the R.C.O.P. 96 of 2016 on merits in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
