The petitioner / A4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 328 of IPC r/w Section 24(1) of the Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 in Crime No.4 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.It stated that A1 had been detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. It is also stated that from the house of this petitioner, the respondent had seized 302 kgs of contraband.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is a girl and college student. But that does not alter the facts of the case that she is an accused in the case.

4.Taking all the factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
