Ms.Pooja Chopda for Mr.Prithvi Chopda, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter even at the stage of admission. 2.The prayer is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2022 for reduction of property tax in respect of the property at No.354, Quaith Millath Salai, Triplicane High Road, Chennai-600 005 (property/property in question) for the period 2022-23 under the provisions of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919. 3.Learned counsel, on instructions, would submit that the representation is pending disposal and there is no objection putforth for disposal of the same and for fixing of the time frame in that regard. 4.Hence, mandamus is issued to R2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2022 within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner. 5.This writ petition is disposed. No costs.
