..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner name from Contributory Pension Scheme to Old Pension Scheme prevailed prior to implementation of contributory pension scheme based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.01.2026. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.01.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has made a representation, dated 12.01.2026 before the respondents seeking to transfer his name from Contributory Pension Scheme to Old Pension Scheme prevailed prior to implementation of contributory pension scheme based on his representation, dated 12.01.2026. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mrs.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2026, as expeditiously as possible.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 12.01.2026 will be considered and appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.01.2026, within a period of Twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
