This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the names of respondents 4 to 7 in Patta No2778 pertaining to the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 01.06.2024.
2. Heard Mr.J.Bharathi Raja, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the names of respondents 4 to 7 were included in the patta erroneously during the UDR scheme. Hence, representation was given to the second respondent on 01.06.2024 to remove the names of respondents 4 to 7 in the patta. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 01.06.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 4 to 7 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
