(Order of the Court was made by R.Mahadevan, J.) This petition is filed by the petitioner/appellant seeking to accept the cause title in the above writ appeal.

2. Heard Mr.I.Abrar Mohamed Abdullah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner / appellant.

3. We perused the affidavit of the petitioner filed in support of this petition, wherein, it has been stated that the writ petitioner has filed the writ petition by arraying the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission as one of the respondents. While so, as per Rule 17 of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure, it is only the Secretary who acts on behalf of the Commission and hence, the present petition came to be filed by the said authority.

4. On the basis of the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner / appellant, this petition is ordered as prayed for.
