ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to disburse the sum of Rs.4,68,527/- and Rs.4,04,442/- to the petitioner for the work done by him for the respondents, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims to have dug borewell, being a successful bidder in a tender called for by the Kundadam Panchayat Union. The petitioner claims that the sum of Rs.4,68,527/- and Rs.4,04,442/- are due to him in respect of the said work completed by him. Since the said payments were not made, he has filed this writ petition.

3.Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of R1 and R2. Mr.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of R3 and R4, would submit, on instructions that a proposal has already been recommended to the Joint Director of Rural Development recommending the representation of the petitioner seeking for release of the sum of Rs.4,68,527/- and Rs.4,04,442/- to the petitioner towards payment for the works done by him for Perumpalayam Village Panchayat. He would submit that if 12 weeks time is granted, payments due to the petitioner will be made by the third respondent. The undertaking given by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for R3 and R4 is

recorded.

4.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to release the payments of Rs.4,68,527/- and Rs.4,04,442/- to the petitioner for the works done by him, which is the subject matter of this writ petition, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
