ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 392 @ 395 r/w 397 of the IPC in Crime No.264 of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This is the third anticipatory bail petition and the earlier anticipatory bail petitions in Crl.O.P.No.16645 & 18732 of 2017 were dismissed by this Court on 17.08.2017 and 11.09.2017 respectively.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was only a friend of the co-accused and that he was not involved in the offences. However, it is seen that three accused had entered into the house of the defacto complainant and after gagging her, they had taken all the jewellery and cash from her house.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, even though investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been filed, since committal proceedings have not been completed.

5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
