Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.02.2024 given by the petitioners herein and direct the 4th respondent to process the application dated 18.01.2024 bearing application No.HMA/ONLINE/27935351/2024 submitted physically at the office of the 4th respondent on 23.01.2024 for the registration of the marriage solemnised on 05.01.2024 at Sri Chandra Mouleeswarar Thirukovil, Anna Nagar, Chennai between the petitioner and register the marriage as a valid marriage under Section 7A of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.02.2024 given by the petitioners herein and direct the 4th respondent to process the application dated 18.01.2024 bearing application No.HMA/ ONLINE/27935351/2024 submitted physically at the office of the 4th respondent on 23.01.2024 for the registration of the marriage solemnized on 05.01.2024 at Sri Chandra Mouleeswarar Thirukovil, Anna Nagar, 2/6
Chennai between the 1st petitioner who is a transgender man and the 2nd petitioner who is a cis-gender woman and register the marriage as a valid marriage under Section 7A of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
2. Mr.B.Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the application submitted by the petitioners is not in order and therefore, the authorities had sought for certain particulars, whereas, the petitioners were not ready to prove the same and therefore, they are unable to proceed further.
3. Heard and perused the materials available on record.
4. It is seen that the petitioners have not produced the particulars sought for by the authorities due to which, the authorities could not proceed further. Therefore, there is no merit in this writ petition.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed at the admission stage itself. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is ordered subject to payment of separate Court fee by each of the Writ Petitions.
7. There shall be no order as to costs.

8. However, the petitioners are directed to file a proforma application as per the Rules and if the petitioners file a fresh application and the same is otherwise in order, the respondents shall consider the same.
