ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to dispose off the petitioner representation dated 24.09.2018, 28.08.2022,

15.12.2025 and 11.02.2026

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was a successful bidder and an agreement was entered into for the provision of HPAC electric cables for the Tamil Nadu New Legislative Complex Block A in Omandurar Government Estate, Chennai in the year 2009. The work was completed as per the agreement. The value of the work is Rs.7,20,00,281/-, whereas, the petitioner has received only Rs.5,24,00,000/-. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite competition of work, the payments have not been made to the petitioner and number of representations were also kept pending without action. Hence, seeks for a direction.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 24.09.2018, 28.08.2022, 15.12.2025 and 11.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
