The application in A.No.5465 of 2016 has been filed to declare M.Varunkumar as major on account of attaining the age of majority and the application in A.No.5466 of 2016 has been filed to discharge the applicant - S.K.Uga Parameshwari viz., the petitioner in O.P.No.303 of 2013 from the legal guardianship of M.Varunkumar. Application in A.No.5467 of 2016 has been filed to withdraw the interest accrued out of the fixed deposit of Rs.26,04,480/- lying to the credit of the Original Petition with Indian Bank, High Court Branch, High Court, Chennai.

2.Learned counsel for the applicant submits that M.Varunkumar, born on 03.10.1996, has attained majority and in support of the same, he has filed a copy of the Birth Certificate as well as a copy of the Aadhar Card of M.Varunkumar.

3.In view of the above, the application in A.No.5465 of 2016 is allowed and the applicant - M.Varunkumar is declared as major. Consequently, the application in A.No.5466 of 2016 is allowed and the

applicant - S.K.Uga Parameshwari is discharged from the guardianship.

4.By order dated 30.04.2013, a sum of Rs.26,04,480/- was ordered to be deposited to the credit of Original Petition. Since M.Varunkumar was a minor at that time, his share was ordered to be invested in fixed deposit in the Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Chennai. Since M.Varunkumar has attained majority, he is permitted to withdraw the interest accrued out of the fixed deposit amount of Rs.26,04,480/-. Therefore, the application in A.No.5467 of 2016 is also allowed.
