O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying to direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2017 for measuring the petitioner's 50 cents of land in S.F.No.282/2, Saravanmpatit Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District and lay survey stones with police assistance, if required.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has made an application on 25.04.2017 to the 3rd respondent to survey the petitioner's land measuring 50 cents in S.F.No.282/2, Saravanmpatit Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District and lay survey stones. But, no action has been taken by the respondent, till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the said representation will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent / Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunities to the parties concerned.

5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
