ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.13186 of 2016 by order dated 07.04.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.02.2016 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property in question, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the necessary parties, if any, and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated

07.04.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate, by filing a counter affidavit, submitted that in compliance with the order of this Court, the respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner and passed an order dated 22.09.2016 rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Thus, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
