ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.14725 of 2016 by order dated 21.04.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2015 and reminder dated 12.04.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ with law, within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 21.04.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate that the order dated 21.04.2016 passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondent. He has also produced the proceedings dated 17.10.2016 issued by the respondent rejecting the request of the petitioner. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
