O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the rejection order dated 12.05.2015 passed by the 1st and respondent, quash the same and also direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting a Meeting in the name of "Dravidar Vizhippunarvu Vattara Manadu' at Ranganathan Street, Pallavaram on 25.05.2015 or any other subsequent date based upon the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2015. 2.On a perusal of the representation dated 08.05.2015, it could be seen that the petitioner has sought for permission for

conducting a meeting on 16.05.2015. The writ petition has been moved for admission today i.e., on 20.05.2015. Therefore, the relief sought for in the representation dated 08.05.2015 has become infructuous.

3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent may be directed to consider the same. 4.Mr.R.Ravichandran, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner gives fresh representation, the same will be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous, while dismissing the writ petition, I give liberty to the petitioner to give fresh representation to the second respondent and if such representation is given to the second respondent, the second respondent shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within one week from the date of receipt of the representation.

6. With this observation, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
